Vendor Calls - Mass Tort

**FIRST OFF – Check number on TCPA website and put screenshot in the matter**

THEN: Check clients address against That’s Them or Free People Search site – get screenshot

Name and TCPA in Google to make sure they are not a litigator, lawyer etc – get screenshot

If calling the lead Start call:

Hi, this is (your name) calling regarding the (case name) lawsuit. May I speak to (clients name),

*IF ASKED WHO YOU WORK FOR SIMPLY STATE YOU ARE AN INTAKE SPECIALIST FOR SEVERAL LAWFIRMS*

Hi (clients name) I'm calling to verify your information to see if you may qualify for any compensation in the (case name) lawsuit.

If you possibly qualify, we will send it to the attorney’s office for further evaluation and case workup.

Then simply say:

**Thank you, I need to inform you that this call is being recorded.

**I need a verbal agreement on this recorded line that you authorize a complete criminal background check before we submit anything to the law firm. Do you agree with this? MUST STATE YES!

**Has anyone promised you money and/or provided you with the answers to say on this call? MUST BE NO!

**I need to make it clear that giving false information on a legal document is a federal crime in the United States, do you understand this? MUST BE YES!

**Do you certify that the information you are about to provide me on this call is complete, true, and correct to the best of your knowledge? MUST BE YES!
**One last thing, have you signed a contract with another law firm to handle this case? MUST BE NO!

Process:

Explain to the person you will need their ID held in their hand to verify it is theirs before we can continue. NO SELFIES! AND IT MUST BE CLEAR AND CLOSE TO THE CAMERA!

Once they send it, you can then let them know that you are NOW running a complete criminal background.

Upload the ID into the matter FIRST then ask Sandy for a BG check

If they pass BG simply start the intake and determine if they are a scammer or legit:

*If determined they are legit after the interview go ahead and send retainer and get them to sign!

* If it comes back “Bad” then simply say “you did not pass background, thank you for your time and hang up.

*If determined they are NOT legit AFTER the intake is done but before the retainer is sent, simply tell them, “I have everything I need but I have determined that you do not qualify, thank them, and hang up. DO NOT KEEP GOING ON!

If everything is good and retainer is complete simply end with:

Thank you for your time. You should hear from the attorney’s office shortly so please make sure to answer your phone and clear your voicemail so that they can leave you a msg. Hang up.

BEFORE YOU GO ON:

LAST thing, ALL 4 screenshots need to be dropped into the skype group “Signed Leads – Screenshots”
